What to expect at the visit?During your first visit, we will review your medical history and discuss your primary concerns. This is your opportunity to share your goals for the visit. Following this discussion, we will conduct a comprehensive hands-on evaluation of your entire body, including a screening and an initial hands-on treatment. The first visit will last approximately one hour. Subsequent follow-up visits will focus primarily on hands-on evaluation and osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). Each follow-up visit will take approximately 30 minutes.

How often do I need treatment? The frequency of your treatment will be based on your initial evaluation. Our goal is to manage your health with minimal intervention and help you achieve long-term wellness.
-
Do you accept insurance? No, we do not accept insurance directly. However, we provide superbills which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. At our clinic, we follow a "fee-for-service" model, meaning that payment is due in full at the time of each treatment. We do not participate in any insurance networks, including Medicare. However, we provide a superbill after each visit, which includes diagnostic and procedure codes. You can submit this superbill to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, typically as an out-of-network provider. Insurance coverage for osteopathic treatment can vary greatly between plans and insurers. We advise you to check with your insurance plan administrator to understand your specific coverage and benefits. While we provide the superbill for your convenience, it does not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance provider. Managing and understanding your insurance benefits, as well as seeking reimbursement, are your responsibilities. For any questions about your coverage, please contact your insurance company directly.

Post-Treatment CareTo support your healing after osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), it’s crucial to adopt a holistic approach to your aftercare. Start by drinking an adequate amount of room-temperature water to stay hydrated, as this helps facilitate the body’s natural healing processes. Avoid any vigorous activities or additional treatments, such as physical therapy, massage therapy, or chiropractic care, for at least the first 24 hours to give your body time to fully integrate the benefits of the treatment. While you can resume your regular activities, it's important to take it easy and listen to your body during this initial period. Gentle movements and rest can significantly enhance your recovery. Additionally, prioritize good quality sleep and nutrition, as these are key components of holistic health. Proper rest allows your body to repair and rejuvenate, while a balanced diet provides the necessary nutrients to support healing and overall well-being. By taking a comprehensive approach to your post-treatment care, you can optimize the benefits of OMT and promote lasting health.

What is your cancellation policy? If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows and late cancellations will incur a fee of 30% of the appointment cost.
-
What if I am late? There will be a grace period of 10-15 minutes. If you arrive within this time frame, you may still be seen without rescheduling. If you know you will be late, it’s recommended to call the clinic as soon as possible. This allows the clinic to adjust the schedule or make necessary accommodations. If you arrive after the grace period, you may need to reschedule your appointment. This is to ensure that subsequent patients are seen on time and the clinic’s schedule is not disrupted. Repeated late arrivals or not notifying the clinic in advance may result in a no-show fee or late cancellation fee.
