I began my academic journey at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology in May 2014. My interest in the intricate workings of the human body led me to pursue further studies, culminating in a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University in October 2017. This interdisciplinary training enriched my understanding of how nutrition impacts overall health, a perspective I integrate into my practice today. In May 2021, I completed my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. This rigorous program equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of osteopathic principles, emphasizing the interrelationship between structure and function and the body's innate ability to heal itself. Recently, I completed my residency in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY, where I continued to refine my palpatory skills and expand my osteopathic medical knowledge. Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in research, contributing to studies that explore various aspects of cellular and molecular biology in neurology and cardiovascular health. My research experience includes working at prestigious institutions such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. These opportunities have allowed me to stay at the forefront of medical advancements and apply evidence-based practices in my clinical work.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy cooking, working out, and spending quality time with my husband, Jay. These activities not only keep me grounded but also help me maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle, which I strive to promote among my patients.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to optimal health and wellness. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or seeking to improve your overall well-being, I'm here to provide compassionate and effective care tailored to your unique needs.
